September 12, 2016 – (Semma) – “Semma Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company developing cellular therapy for diabetes, announced today that it has accepted a $5 million grant from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). The award provides funding to develop personalized cell therapy for the treatment of diabetes.
