Job description  РContinuous Improvement Project Manager

Reporting to the Assoc. Director, Manufacturing Support, the CI Project Manager will provide structured planning and execution of a range of Continuous Improvement Projects. Interactions will be extensive within the company and extend to other external clients and collaboration partners. Maintain a conscientious teamwork attitude to achieve manufacturing and company objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Function as Project Manager on assigned cross-functional teams to ensure goals and objectives are set and accomplished, develop and maintain timelines to track milestones and are consistent with project team needs, risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Monitor project schedules and flow. Identify issues that can delay timelines and bring these issues to the attention of key stakeholders.
  • Provide support in resolving issues to meet project goals and deliverables.
  • Work directly with functional department and group leaders.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports, agendas, meeting minutes, analyses and presentations.
  • Actively participates in an environment that fosters safety, quality and continuous improvement in cost and customer service.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in science, engineering with a minimum of 2 years direct project management experience. Experience working in a GMP / laboratory / Medical Device/Manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
