Job description – Client Account Manager – Memphis, Tennessee

This position will function as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts. The client account manager will lead 2-4 client accounts dependent on statement of work (SOW). The account manager will drive execution in accordance with the SOW as well as regularly identifying changes in scope. This position will provide structured planning to enable positive operational efficiency, strategic growth, communication and technical outcomes. Interactions will be extensive within the company and extend to external clients and collaboration partners. Maintaining a conscientious teamwork approach to achieve manufacturing and company objectives is critical.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Function as the program lead for internal cross-functional and client teams to ensure goals are set and met
  • Influence and motivate the teams to consistently meet deadlines set forth in timelines and project meetings
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, reports, analyses, and presentations to accurately reflect the status of projects
  • Create a team working environment and help project teams with ongoing activities on a regular basis
  • Identify potential risks that can delay timelines and determine mitigation before a negative impact is observed
  • Routinely check and confirm that potential gaps are identified and addressed
  • Maintain accounting plans and forecast projections as it relates to deliverables and milestones outlined in the SOW
  • Provide support in resolving issues and ensure alignment is in place between client and project team
  • Regularly evaluate long term goals and planning with key stake holders

 

OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Multi-disciplinary knowledge of the biotech or cellular manufacturing industry
  • Strong capability for logical, analytical, and strategic thinking
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills required
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are must.
  • Must be able to manage multiple complex projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a multicultural environment.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in science, engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience working in a GMP/ laboratory / Manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience working in a contract manufacturing/development environment preferred.
